Thought Training

Hello pals! I hope you are doing well.

I have received some requests and suggestions to do some Gyaan ki baatein (wisdom talks) instead of the usual random posts.

After much pondering I thought – Let’s do this.

I am basically gonna share a bit about how our thought process works.

In the most simplest form we can think of thoughts as frequencies. The thoughts never die; they can travel millions of miles across the universe without the slightest change in their intensity.

So when you have a positive thought, that particular frequency pulls in the thoughts of the same frequency. For example – when you are feeling confident about your work, then you start having similar thoughts which boost your confidence or people directly/indirectly praise your work.

Remember, we are what we are because of the collective thoughts of millions and millions of beings across of the universe. Now the catch here is that the supreme control stays with us. We are in full control of choosing which thought grows in our mind. How? By choosing the right seed!

If you are having a negative thought, for example – failure, then you are attracting thoughts of that particular frequency around you and you start contemplating further about your life decisions, past events, career and so on you go associating them all with failure.

Now its on us to keep radiating thoughts of the same frequency, thereby attracting the same frequency or change the channel to something soothing… something relaxing.

It’s that simple! If the song playing on the radio is making you sad then just tune it another one… a soothing one .. where a fine melody is being played.

Just think – Your sad thoughts will make someone else more sad when they are down, while your happiness will help in multiplying someone’s happy thoughts.

When it comes to thoughts, the only rule is – Like attracts Like.

Think about it.

Well, I read about this a while back in a chapter of a tiny book by Swami Vivekananda and it has helped me ever since. Hope it helps you too 🙂

Gratitude Mantra

The attitude of living with gratitude on a daily basis is directly proportional to the happiness quotient of a person. Learn to master the art of saying (feeling) ‘Thank you’ for the things you already have. Most people find it difficult to search for things to be grateful about. Let me make it simple for you – you have the eyes to read this post. Isn’t it something to be grateful about? You have the technology to access my blog – gadget, internet, electricity. One can be grateful for anything and everything in their life – friends, family, clothes, gadgets, money, books, sunglasses, video game, weather… If one truly seeks to be grateful, then the list is never ending.

The attitude of gratitude goes a long way in making one’s life affluent. By being grateful for what you already possess, you secretly send a message – I am happy with what I currently have and am ready to receive more of what I desire. However good or bad be the current situation of a person, it can always converge to the path they want their life to follow by being grateful for what one already has.

Tomorrow when you wake up in morning remember to say – Thank you for the bed, peaceful night, the slippers, the toothpaste… Make a list of 10 simple things you are grateful for in your life (feel the gratitude) and before you know it you will master the art of being happy and living with gratitude.

Simply stating the secret of living a prosperous life lies in two simple things – being happy and being grateful. 🙂

Life Mantra

A famous quote by Napolean Hill goes like this – Whatever the human mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.

Over the years many people have tried applying many such theories into their practical existence and have failed miserably thereby concluding it all as a hoax. Many people think that only visualizing or imagining something they want will lead them directly to it. The process isn’t that simple (Although it is simple for the ones who understand it). Having read a number of books on similar subject matter I have developed some understanding which I believe will be useful to all (Also I have used it in day to day activities).

Let’s start with something simple. Life is meant to be happy. Our purpose in this life is to spread happiness and smiles and we can only do that if we are feeling happy. Once we start feeling happy, everything around us starts responding in the same way. For instance, when you smile at a person don’t you get smile in return? So, start your day with a smile. A little too simple you would say. Well, life is meant to be simple. We make it complicated.
